There's no place like home...

So, here we are... still in our original city... the options aren't looking great at this point.
We have decided to come home for now. We are actually very excited to come home (back to our electricity, clean shower where flip flops are not necessary, family, and friends). We are dissapointed at the problems that we have run into here, but... we have to trust that God has a reason for us coming here and going through all of this. There are some options for us, but they aren't available right now, so we will keep everyone posted as to what the future holds. :) We may come back to a different area in the near future, but we'll see... we'll continue to post updates as we know anything...
We'll see you all when we get home. :)
Love ya!

Sounds like you're making a very wise decision at this point. At least you know the territory better now, and I'm sure that you have learned some things about the adoption process in this country to help you in the future.
Hang in there and remember that God is constantly looking out for both of you. You are right. There has to be a reason for all of this. Have a safe journey home.
In His love--Anne

I sorry things didn't go as planned, but like you said there is a reason for what happened. I'll be glad to see you both when you get back. Travel safe!

I've been looking at your blog all day and can't really think of much to say. But, since that's never stopped me from opening my mouth before, here goes. I've missed you all and look forward to lots of hugs when you get back.

Well, I hate hearing that things are working this way, however, I believe I have mentioned the lack of good candy in a previous post...can you say "snickers withdrawal"? I promise to help finance the return trip in return for stocking snickers...let's see, that would be one for me, one for Michael, and one for Pete-Sunday and Wed. nights...and Rachael says I need to add her to the list, as well...silliness (sp?) aside, know I am still praying...

Sorry things aren't working out according to your plans, it makes me think that God's plans for this are way more amazing than you could ever imagine. Travel safe. We're praying for you.
